IF THERE'S A PARADISE

There are moments
(when) my words are finished
only (my) head is full of images
noises and imaginations

Moments
explanations are finished
only (my) heart spends hours
covering the tears

If there's a paradise
or a hiding place now
hug me and my wounds
and take me to it

Mother
I want inside my soul
to return home, to my house
as it was in my childhood
I call to you - Mom
I want inside my soul
to return to me and to my figure
so that I won't lose my sanity

There are moments
I don't know what to do
in front of red eyes
in front of heights and depths

Moments
when everything is broken inside
and everyone says prayers
and I'm full of curses

If there's a paradise
or a hiding place now
hug me, my pains
and take me to it

Mother...

If there's a paradise
or a hiding place now
take me to it

Note:
After visiting the north and reading the lyrics of Doron Madli, Eyal Golan recorded this song within 24 hours. Eyal had toured the bomb shelters and decided he had to sing this song. The composer/lyricist was inspired by Ron Leshem's Sapir award-winning book by the same name, which is about the first Lebanon war, and adapted to the so-called second Lebanon war which started July 12, 2006.

Madli turned to Golan on July 29th, who recorded it upon his return to central Israel, within a day. Eyal performed the song on Kochav Nolad (Israeli Idol) on Thursday, August 3, 2006. Eyal dedicated the song to the soldiers in the North and South and to all of the thousands of families that reside in shelters, wandering between the houses, and praying to return home.

SE EXISTE O PARAISO

H? momentos
em que minhas palavras se acabam
s? meu c?rebro fica repleto de imagens,
ru?dos e fantasias.

Momentos.
As explica??es acabaram.
S? meu cora??o passa o tempo
encobrindo as l?grimas.

Se existe um para?so
ou lugar secreto agora
me abrace e ?s minhas feridas
e me guie at? l?.

Mam?e,
quero do fundo da minha alma
voltar pr? casa, pr? minha casa,
como na minha inf?ncia.

Te chamo - M?e!
Quero do fundo da minha alma
voltar a ser eu mesmo,
com minha personalidade
pois n?o gostaria de perder meu equil?brio.

H? momentos
nos quais n?o sei o que fazer
? frente de olhos vermelhos
? frente dos altos e baixos.

Momentos
quando algo se parte por dentro
e algu?m diz ora??es
e eu me canso de praguejar.

Se existe um para?so
ou luger secreto agora
me abrace e ?s minhas m?goas
e me guie at? l?.

Mam?e ...

Se existe um para?so
ou lugar secreto
leve-me at? l?.

SI EXISTE UN PARA?SO

Existen momentos,
En que ya no me quedan palabras,
S?lo (mi) cabeza,
llena de im?genes,
Ruido y sue?os.

Momentos,
En que ya acabadas explicaciones,
S?lo mi coraz?n se pasa horas
Olvidando las l?grimas

Si existe un para?so,
O sitio para esconderme ahora,
Abr?zame con mis heridas,
Y ll?vame all?.

Madre,
En mis adentros, quiero
Volver a casa, a mi casa,
Como era en mi infancia.

Te imploro, mamita m?a,
En mis adentros, quiero
Volver a lo que era
yo y a mi personalidad
Para no volverme loco.

Existen momentos
En que no s? qu? hacer
Ante ojos enrojecidos,
Ante altibajos.

Momentos
En que en mis adentros,
todo est? destrozado,
Y cada uno reza,
Y me invaden las desgracias.

Si existe un para?so,
O sitio para esconderme ahora,
Abr?zame con mis penas
Y ll?vame all?.

Madre,
Si existe un para?so,
O un sitio para esconderme ahora,
Ll?vame all?.

S’IL Y A UN PARADIS

Il y a des moments,
[O?] les mots ne me viennent plus,
Seule ma t?te est pleine d’images,
De bruits et de r?ves.

Des moments,
[O?] les explications sont termin?es,
[O?] mon c?ur passe des heures
? oublier les larmes.

S’il y a un paradis,
Ou un endroit pour se cacher maintenant,
Serre-moi dans tes bras avec mes blessures,
Et emm?ne-moi l?-bas.

Maman,

Emm?ne-moi l?-bas.
