About Emanual Amiran Emanuel Amiran came to Israel from Russia at the age of fifteen. He was best-known for his holiday songs, although his repertoire also included music for the theater and film. Amiran was one of the designers of Israeli music education, serving as the first music-education head supervisor at the Ministry of Education of the young state of Israel (established 1948). |
