GLYKERIA

Born in the small city of Serres in Northern Greece, Glykeria rose to stardom in the 1980's. She was a very successful and popular singer with many albums to her credit.

She performed in Israel for the first time in 1993 and became an instant success, going on to gold and platinum record sales.

In 1998 she was the only foreign artist to be invited to sing at the 3rd anniversary of Yitzkak Rabin's passing, showing her deep connection to Israel.

Highlights of her Israeli carrer include her performances with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra in 1999.
