Singer Avner Gadassi was born in Schunat Hatikva and began his career at the age of 18 after winning a talent quest. He has recorded nine albums and performed with many of the great artists of Israeli music.

His most famous songs include "Menagen Veshar", "Na'ara Misfarad"
