Ehud Manor is one of Israel's best known and loved figures.
He is a recipient of the Israel Prize, Israel's most prestigious award.
Manor is a prolific songwriter, poet, translator and radio and
TV personality.
He has written the lyrics to more than one thousand songs,
including "Bashana Haba'a" and
"Ein Li Eretz Acheret".
He is also an acclaimed translator of theatre plays
(Shakespeare, Harold Pinter, Tennessee Williams)
and musicals
(Hair, Grease, West Side Story, Les Miserables and Oliver).
He was born in Binyamina, Israel.
