TODAY IS PURIM
Happy are the dolls today And bright-eyed teddy bear. For they’ve all got masks to wear And gone outside to play.
The streets are teeming with hordes Of fancy dress and children, And everyone is singing songs, Because today is Purim.
Who just came into the garden With countenance concealed? It’s a child, he’s in disguise - Does anyone recognize him?
It’s all so merry outside our house, Everyone’s in fancy dress And everyone is singing songs, Because today is Purim!
