THE TALE OF THE SUN AND THE MOON

They spin her,
the seven stars of the galaxy
but she burns towards
the paleness of his face.
And he's so far away,
in the skies of the Earth,
but longing for her
to the golden fire.

The shadow of the moon
is extended to the face of the sun.
Always between day and night,
they touch up there,
and it's not enough for him, nor for her -
only for a moment and then moving on.
And so each day, for countless years,
he dies in her light,
and she in his.
The setting of pink glow
perished love.

At times in their despair,
they darken for a moment
lunar eclipse
and solar eclipse.
But in this pursuit
they light up the sky,
captured in their orbit
without comfort.

The shadow of the moon...
